Training Programs

EISRA partners with Apatisiiwin Skills Development and local Recreation Departments to build Eeyou istchee's sports & recreation capacity through high-quality, accredited training programs for coaches, referees, fitness centre staff, and more.
Eligible Expenses:

Only expenses, excluding taxes, related to transportation (air, marine, rail or road) are eligible.

Eligible Organizations:

  • A municipality, locality, community or school with its head office in the Nord-du-Québec region

  • An organization resulting from a sports federation or a national recreation organization recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation and having its head office in the Nord-du-Québec region.

Eligible Projects:

Projects aimed strictly at clients aged 17 and under.Interregional travel of at least 400 kilometres (one way only), except for air transport, for:

  • Participation in sports or recreational activities from a sports federation or a national recreation organization recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation*

  • Participation in the Secondaire en spectacle program.*

  • Participation in the Jeux du Québec is not an eligible project.

 

*Note: Eligible intra-regional travel only when there is no land route

Eligibility

Organizations may submit only one application per year. This application must be submitted electronically.  ​​​

 

The completed electronic final report form, along with all supporting documentation, must also be submitted no later than 60 days after the project end date. 

 

Any misrepresentation results in exclusion from the transportations fund.
