Due to particular circumstances, the U18 team is a 'travel team' for this season. Therefore, the team will only be partaking in a tournament, showcase trips in urban areas and the HAT league playoffs.
The main purpose for this format, which was voted on and implemented by the EISRA Board of Directors, is to showcase the Cree Nation's U18 players to opportunities beyond our region and the usual league play within the HAT region. With our growing network of contacts within the hockey world, we have managed to include trips in the urban areas to expose the players to various programs for them to strive to attend in the future.
